Actor Alia Bhatt’s elder sister and author, Shaheen Bhatt was overwhelmed seeing her sister dressed as a bride on her wedding day. So much so, that she has no idea how her parents Mahesh Bhatt and Soni Razdan reacted to the beautiful moment.
In an interview with Bollywood Bubble, Shaheen revisited the day when Alia got married to Ranbir Kapoor. When asked what was her parents’ reaction, Shaheen said, “I don’t know because I couldn’t see. I just had tears in my eyes. I couldn’t see anything. So, for me, it was a really overwhelming and emotional moment. It was a beautiful moment but I actually have no idea how everyone else was dealing with it because I was so overwhelmed myself.”
Shaheen and Alia are emotionally very close to each other. Shaheen has often spoken about Alia being her pillar of strength when she was dealing with depression
