After a lot of speculation, Bollywood actress Alia Bhatt has finally walked the Cannes red carpet. The actress, who is at the 78th Cannes Film Festival as the global ambassador of L’Oreal Paris, attended the screening of The Mastermind on Friday.
For the screening, Alia wore a long off-the-shoulder bustier dress in ecru Chantilly lace embroidered with organza and enamel flowers, with ruffles in ivory mousseline, crepeline, organza and tulle at the bottom. The outift is by Schiaparelli as shared by the actor’s stylist Rhea Kapoor.
Alia Bhatt’s Cannes look caught the attention of many fans online. A fan commented, “That’s a Queen look.” Another person wrote, “Peak a boo we can see you baby.” Other comments read, “OMG Motherr,” “OMG Queen is here,” and “OMG Alia.”
This year, several Bollywood celebrities have walked the Cannes red carpet. Earlier, Aishwarya Rai Bachchan served looks on the red carpet. Apart from Aishwarya Rai, Ishaan Khatter, Vishal Jethwa, Janhvi Kapoor, Karan Johar, Neeraj Ghaywan, Sharmila Tagore, Simi Garewal and Urvashi Rautela, among others, were also seen walking the red carpet. In addition, social media influencers such as Nancy Tyagi, Masoom Minawala, Parul Gulati, Sakshi Sindwani, and Sarah Sarosh added their own flair to the prestigious event.
On the work front, Alia Bhatt will be seen next in the YRF spy universe film Alpha. The film is slated to release on December 2025.
